Automating HR & Payroll for a 300-Person Enterprise
How Softotic replaced a three-tool HR stack with a single HRMS that automated payroll, leave management, and performance reviews for 300+ employees.
The Problem
The client was running payroll on Excel, tracking leave via email, and using a legacy attendance system with no API. Payroll took 3 days per month. HR had no visibility into employee performance, and employees had no self-service access. Data inconsistency between tools led to payroll errors and audit complications.
Our Solution
We built a custom HRMS covering the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, attendance integration, leave management, payroll automation with configurable tax rules, performance appraisals, and a self-service portal on web and Flutter mobile. The payroll engine handles multiple contract types, tax slabs, overtime, and deductions. Integration with the existing biometric attendance system was built via a middleware adapter.
